Bellevue Kitchen Remodeling Project
We transformed the small, cramped dated workspace into a new, fully functioning and beautifully appointed kitchen. We removed the tired Formica countertops, installed attractive alder cabinetry, granite countertops, a tumbled-marble backsplash and new stainless steel appliances.

Bellevue Kitchen Remodeling Project
These photo's are only a portion of a whole house remodel that we did in Bellevue in 2007. This Bellevue homeowner grew up in this house but wanted to update the kitchen that her mother loved so well. This remodeling process involved removing and replacing all of the old cabinets, vinyl flooring, galvanized piping, the old appliances, plumbing and lighting fixtures. While functionally, the kitchen retained the majority of it's original layout (the positions of the refrigerator and the original sink remained the same) all of the cabinets, flooring, countertops and the appliances are new. This homeowner knew exactly what she wanted in her new kitchen. She took the time to research, find and specify exactly how she wanted her kitchen to work, look and more importantly how she wanted her guests to feel when they entered her mothers "new" kitchen.
Her choice of yellow walls, white cabinets, grey toned countertops, stainless steel appliances all work together for the display of her blue and white heirloom plate & dishware collection.

Bellevue Kitchen Remodeling Project
This was once a "dream kitchen of 1958" - painted plywood cabinets, Formica counter, vinyl flooring - was more of a nightmare. While a more recent touchup by a previous owner had slightly improved the kitchen's look, it did nothing to enhance the room's functionality.
We transformed the small, cramped, dated workspace into anew, fully functioning and beautifully appointed kitchen. We removed her tired Formica counter tops, installed attractive alder cabinetry, granite counter tops, a tumbled-marble back splash and new stainless steel appliances.
We also added an eating area with barstools and granite counter tops. Standard thin moldings and baseboards were replaced with glossy, wide Colonial-style ones, and the doors replaced with more aesthetic versions. They also took out the old vinyl kitchen flooring and installed cork floors instead.
The remodeling didn't stop, we set about pumping up the view, removing a wall between the kitchen and formal dining room, and another between the kitchen and living room. The kitchen's cabinets and counters were also extended into the dining room to make a large serving area for parties.
