Bellevue Kitchen

We transformed the small, cramped dated workspace into a new, fully functioning and beautifully appointed kitchen. We removed the tired Formica countertops, installed attractive alder cabinetry, granite countertops, a tumbled-marble backsplash and new stainless steel appliances.

A Letter From the Client

When Geoff and I decided to remodel our home, we went on a tour of remodeled homes and there we found Joe. Friends shared nightmares of remodeling, one even had a contractor leave in the middle of a job. After we met with Joe the first time and shared our ideas, he brought in a young “designing woman” he works with to talk to us about our wants and needs. Together, they got to know us, and what would work for us, listening to our ideas and adding theirs. After several sessions together, they were ready to begin. We moved into our basement where we would stay for seven months. During this time, from demolitions until we were given “the key” to move upstairs, Joe met with us periodically to deep us up to date and answer any questions. Not once did we have problems. No once!!!

Joe and his team combined their artistry and skill to open up our living room, dining room, kitchen and family room, into one glorious living space. It feels calm, serene, and is what we dreamed of. When we moved into our then new home, in 1976, we had a view of Lake Sammamish from both the dining room and the living room. Later a new home was built which blocked our view, except from the living room an we were only in that room, on special occasions. Now with walls removed, the lake and Cascade foothills are visible from every room. I can stand at the kitchen sink and see the lake. Joe did not turn our house into what he thought it should be, he turned it into what is “us”. We thank Joe every day for making our dreams become reality.
